Veyrière, founded in 1962, is a long-standing family company. It started as a small local sawmill, and has since grown to be one of the largest, most modern softwood sawmills in the French region of Auvergne.

It was set up as a simplified joint stock company. Robert Veyrière is the company chairman.
Today the company is run by his three sons :

• Eric Veyrière is the General Manager of the company.
• Christophe Veyrière is the Technical Manager.
• Didier Veyrière is the Purchasing Manager.

The company is specialized in the transformation and valorisation of sawn softwood timber from the Livradois and Forez hills, and has its own customer base of dealers specialized in wood or the building trade in France and abroad.
